2009 District Administrator Election
On Tuesday, May 12, 2009, ten (10) of District 55's eleven (11) Presidents attended the monthly President's meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, the President's were provided a seven (7) day written notice of the upcoming District Administrator election and each President acknowledged, in writing, that they were given a written document of the election notice. The floor was opened for nominations from the Presidents. Tamara Lindner was nominated and the nomination was seconded; no other individuals were nominated. The floor remained opened for nominations for the seven (7) day period leading up to the collection of ballots. No other candidates were nominated by the Presidents at any time.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the following week, May 19 through 21, 2009, Kevin Moran, District 55's Chief Operating Officer, conducted the election electronically with ten (10) of the eleven (11) leagues participating in the election. Tamara Lindner was re-elected to the position of District Administrator with ten (10) affirmative votes. One (1) league did not respond to the electronic election and did not participate in the vote. No other candidates were nominated by the Presidents at any time.
